We came into this game needing one point to secure promotion to Division A

We knew Thorncliffe weren't going to come and give us the magical win.

Thorncliffe started out 4-5-1 and attempted to stifle the game, it worked for long periods and they tried the long ball method to the max.

We failed to get any grip on the game and it was very scrappy with midfield top heavy and congested worse than London traffic.

Thorncliffe took the lead when a long hopeful ball over the top caught us flat footed.

Our equalizer and point was secured when consistent goal scorer Jamie Wootton tucked the ball home from close range and took his tally to 47 for the season ,INCREDIBLE!!!!!. 

We became more confident and had chances to win the game.

Overall it was a tough hard game but it came with what we needed to be playing A division football next season
